Dark clouds here too, but hopefully the freshening breeze will blow them away in time for tonight's firework show. ðŸ™

I had a great weekend thanks BB. Hope you and all the others on here had the same 😊

Indeed, already down to 15C here! My elderly neighbour next door has put a fire on...really smells like late autumn out there! :)

We have 19c here, but with a brisk wnw breeze, it feels markedly cooler. The cloud is starting to break here also! Does anyone what time to start looking for the Perseid?

I love that smell. It reminds me of when I was a child, and my dad was starting to light the bonfire for GuyFawlks night. We was all wrapped up with my mum bring out hot drinks, and snacks... It felt magical. I can't wait to create that with my children 😊

Iv'e had a couple of neighbours asking me about this potential display tonight, sounds as though the media have been hyping it up a bit ? Unfortunately I think cloud and light pollution will be a problem here though. I have been hunting high and low for any UK webcams which might be trying to focus on it, anyone have any suggestions please. Slooh.com are hopefully doing a live feed from the Canary Islands later tonight. 11pm I believe.

Was coming on here 20 minutes ago, about to say "worryingly cloudy here at the moment."  But I got distracted. So I've just been outside again, and the cloud has started breaking up nicely in those 20 minutes. Is Mother Nature going to play ball for once? Certainly hoping so...

Yep, just checked the Satellite AR app on my mobile, and it is indeed the ISS. Just gone right over me. Posted Image
