I predict this region will get many heavy showers and thunderstorms tomorrow.

    Why?

Because I'm not here!!! Posted Image

I think it will be more like Thursday actually......why?

.........Because I leave the country on Wednesday Posted Image

Just been out watching the shooting stars there are some really bright ones as well, if you have clear skies you should go out and see them

Luckily there was a clearance in the cloud cover right in the north-eastern sky when I went outside about 20 minutes ago. The clear area is rapidly filling in now though. Typical! Posted Image

Managed to see three shooting stars though. So that's better than nothing. But I now have a very sore neck of course!

Let's hope for clearer skies all over, tomorrow night.

    Bah, good old British weather.

You can always rely on it to be unreliable when viewing shooting stars.

But Thursday will see warm air arriving from the south temperatures reaching back up to 26C (78.8F) or higher†in the South East in sunny spells between cloudy periods. The warm weather is all helping autumn fruits to ripen in time for the late bumper harvest.

    Morning folks,

Been getting progressively brighter here as the morning has progressed. Cloud cover has gone from grey to white over the last 3 hours. And now we have blue to the NW. Another pleasant enough summer's day on offer I hope. Currently slap bang on 18°, with a gentle breeze from the WNW. So nothing earth-shatteringly exciting, but nothing to complain about either.

Tonight is supposed to another good night for the meteors, so all we can do is hope for clearer skies than Mrs M. Nature decided we were entitled to last night!

Have a good Monday, all. (Well, as good as a Monday can be!)
