My Cockatiel  male finally copied me whistling to him, very happy as he is an aggressive male and not very friendly normally and protective of my very friendly female I have, so bit of a result.

Evening all. Been a pretty much standard summers week here. We've had cloud, rain, sun, wind and varying temps.... But after looking at the weather forecast on this great website, I'm pleased to say the weather in Portugal is HOT HOT HOT... 8 days and counting. Then two weeks of summer bliss, then the eagerly waited countdown to winter 😃

Quite chilly on the way home from the pub - it stayed dry though which was surprising given how cloudy it was earlier !

Morning all, cloudy here....

The MOD thread seems to be getting quite excited about a good spell of weather coming up to end Aug/into Sept ...really hoping it does actually come off and then we'd have had a nigh on perfect summer that was long overdue!!! Lets hope it sets a trend for the next few summers now - with cold winters in between of course!!

Cloudy start with patches of blue now appearing and the sun is trying it's best.  16.9°C and not bad considering what we have had of late.

Same here, cloudy but dry, working too so no great issue there either.

 

Then a week off, not going anywhere, have been putting the cover sheet over the spare room table though ready for a prologned spell of drawing and painting over the next week though.

Mornin each. Cloudy and cool here in Ippy. But quite bright.

Didn't go to Southwold maze yesterday. Instead, we had a picnic on my sisters sitting room floor. :)

We had quite a lot of rain in Carlton Colville (nr Lowestoft) and I think a flash of lightning and a couple of distant rumbles and some stormy skies.

Anyway, tried my new camera phone out.
