Good morning.

 

A mostly bright and sunny day yesterday but I could see huge cloud banks to the East and West - yet again Eastbourne is the 'Sunshine Coast'! 

 

A bit of cirrus cloud moving through this morning and clearing to a clear blue sky with bags of lovely warm sunshine. Looks like it could be a corker today so enjoy it all you have it!

Morning all,

 

Lovely one here too, pleasantly warm with sunshine and scattered clouds - perfect for getting some weeding done in the garden this morning as well as enjoying lunch outside.

Morning all.  I'm seeing a mention of rain this evening on the Met Office site - any thoughts as to whether this will affect the outdoor concert tonight (Audley End House)?

I'm not sure about Audley End but I'm expecting my end to stay dry Posted Image

Cheers Steve.  We anticipate the concert should end by about 9.45 - 10.00 pm, so, with a bit of luck, we should be on the road by 10.30-ish.

Morning all,

 

A continuation of what we've seen over the last few days really. Blue sky interspersed with fast-moving cumulus. A few higher-altitude clouds too. (Cirrostratus?) Wonderful lack of humidity, pleasant breeze, and a current temperature of 21.1°C. Had brekkie in the back garden - too nice not to!

 

Up until this morning, I was expecting tomorrow to be something of a washout. Now, however, looking at the forecasts - and the comments on the NW forum - I'm starting to think this south-eastern corner could miss out on much of the rain. (Watch it hammer down all day tomorrow now!)

Morning all

 

Far more pleseant temps here today, 20.6oC at present and dry but cloudy, but that does not bother me, makes a change not to be cooked on the bone for once.

Not a bad day here, bit too much cloud for my liking but some decent sunny spells too. Breezy and fresh at 21C. Bike ride by the Thames plus a beer, bit of sunbathing if that cloud sods off. Happy Sunday :)

Not weather related, but does anybody know what's going on in Medway? Had several police cars and vans fly past our house with a few police helicopters too. One was hovering over us for a bit.
