Wow, that's quite a line of showers now running from Cornwall right the way to the north of London. Heads up, East Anglians?

And Ireland looks like it's got the measles this afternoon!

I can see the shower that is currently hitting Luton from here in Sawbridgeworth. Looks like it is growing.

Think Luton and South of MK are/will get some of the wet stuff.

Still bright sunshine here....I think I'm too far north Posted Image

It's coming down heavier!

Ooh and a rumble of thunder.

Which is a shame as we've had a good few weekends and those at the Knebworth festival have to put up with this.  It's a shame really.

used to have goats/sheep so grass cutting was never a problem.

Can I ask a question - we're off tomorrow afternoon to an outdoor concert at Audley End (Saffron Walden) - what are the odds of a shower during the evening, and is the front coming from the west due to arrive before midnight?  Apologies to MKSnowangel and other mods for hijack.

Typically here we are too far south for the band which is moving from the Midlands into Lincolnshire and too far north for the band coming up from the SW - the only time MK gets a decent storm was while I was in Norfolk last weekend Posted Image
