23C here, although the humidity was 80%+ as apposed to 63% now, it's still humid.

Yeah it is feeling muggy.

I've quite a headache now this morning......but rather than the humidity, I believe the headache is due to other weather related 'issues'....

20C here under fairly sunny skies, a little patchy cirrus, and a light variable breeze

An interesting hour around 07.00-08.00 with Cirrus/Altocumulus moving W-E and low cloud/mist moving E-W otherwise gloriously sunny and now very warm, although turning hazier due to the Cold Front's Cirrus.

Hazy sunshine here so far today, with the temp reaching 24.5c recently though now the sun has gone behind some quite large cumulus clouds and it's 23.8c.

One reason I did think the frontal cloud would be high stuff today, was we were still forecast to reach 23C so much have some solar input for that to happen here in this airmass.

A warm, calm and slightly humid feel to things with some decent cumulus bubbling above us with darkening bases, next thing is to see if they develop into anything more than this..

Certainly looking a bit lively down in my old stomping grounds with quite active cells over Paignton, Torquay, Stoke Gabriel, Totnes and moving further into the south hams towards Plymouth......torrential rain, some hail, and T&L of course

Very heavy rain just starting here. Think I may have just heard a rumble of thunder.

Tomorrow's forecast map;

post-12721-0-51254600-1377628032_thumb.j

For 99.9% of us it should be a dry and sunny day after any early morning cloudcover fades away.

There is a chance of an isolated shower or two developing in the red areas though. These include South Devon and also Hampshire. They will be isolated if they do indeed develop.

For the rest of us it should be a sunny day with just patches of convective cloud bubbling up.

Temperatures reaching the mid twenties for many inland areas.

Me and my family went for a visit to my brothers today in Guildford and although the morning was foggy it cleared up nicely by the afternoon and it was very warm in the sunshine.

Hope I didn't miss anything thundery back at home.Posted Image

Looks like it's just been a normal sunny day at home having spent a very warm and sunny day in Egham, Surrey. Thought I could see some towers in the western distance on the drive back towards Bristol along the M4 just before sundown.

Well a very nice summer day all in all, sun a bit hazy much of the time due to high level cloud, but decent strength to get the temp up to 24.6c today. Some quite large cumulus for a time, which drifted south and developed further, particularly the ones to the west which developed into some visible cells to the SW then south.

I partly think If only I'd been a little further SW could have seen some rather interesting action. Did however see a *possible* small funnel cloud though to the west.

But all in all another good summers day with some convective cloud around to add a bit of interest.

Yeah, it was a lovely day in E Devon, today. I saw the funnel cloud in the W, too. I wish those showers were over here, though. It would have been nice. Oh well, better luck next time. :D

I don't think any showers will develop tomorrow. If they do they will be extremely isolated and light.

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
