Seems to be dying off a bit.

Yep. Nocturnal cooling obviously not playing a part this evening. Ppn seems to be weakening a little too.

Wells area towards Bath seems set for a fast moving deluge soon. Saw a few flashes to the WNW 10 or so minutes ago while Warminster has scuddy Stratocumulus visible in the twilight presumably as outflow from the storms.

Another active batch pushing towards Hants/Berks which may affect the Salisbury area.

Amazing how fast all of todays storms have moved NNE along their various troughs/fronts and also that even in he fresher air so much is happening.

Working outside in a thunderstorm is actually rather scary. Sort of glad it's passed over now.

Some mega bright lightning in the last half a hour or so though. Amazing stuff. Again!!!

these storms are totally frustrating.....all afternoon/evening they are sitting there training along the same line approx 20 miles to my west

But at least you have got to see some storms this week AJ.  They skirt by us every time by a matter of a few miles, haven't had a proper storm for about 8 years.

Giving up for tonight, everything seems to have gone around here or died before getting here. Nevermind, at least some lightning was seen and a few rumbles heard.

Heavy shower right now, but no lightning or thunder.  Looks as though that's our lot for today.
