Huge great big cbs just to the west, running up the Bristol channel, really menacing with dark bases and high wispy tops silver-lined by the sun behind - lovely! Think it might be the next lot currently over south Devon that will get to these parts.

Rapid development over the SW & West Country as storms fire readily training SW to NE and the lines of convection transfer slowly eastwards....lloking very good for many in the region....for us in the east of the region its a question of waiting and seeing if these storms hold together

Frame it all, it's a beauty for the South West;

Much of Devon & Cornwall in amongst the action currently. This looks to be slowly moving into Somerset, Bristol and the Gloucestershire areas within the next few hours.

Whether it holds up and makes it into Central Southern counties isn't yet clear.

EDIT: In fact, looking at the radar animation it's heading straight NE so I'm not sure it's even going to make it into Somerset/Bristol.

Evening gang ,been totally out of it last week or so, had appendix burst, in hospital for 7 days ,yes it does look like activity is moving slowly more east so our area near bristol etc could get some action this evening ,i need a bit of excitement bring it on and its still developing as it comes cheers gang best of luck all
