Another Storm just started!! i must be on some sort of unstable line of development!!

Yes, another crack of thunder just heard and heavy rain hitting the window, as I type.

Really dragging its heels through this area.

Tom.

Morning all - Cracking start to the day here, and I actually mean Cracking.

Woke up at 6am to bright blue skies, and sunshine. Thought 6am was to early, so went back to bed... Since about 7am right up to down we have had thunder every 4 or so minutes... Interspersed with heavy rain and even some sunshine. Wished I had my camera with me, as I have seen some amazing cloud structures.

Good day all...

Coast, I know how you feel!

If I'd have been at work in Benny Hill it would have been cracking (sorry for that pun) - I'm sure this is a deliberate thing being done by the weather!

Well done those getting storm after storm. But, come on, time to share, don't you think?

There's a pint in it for anyone who obliges. Posted Image

Has he tried jumping in your lap yet? Mine's panting, rolling his eyes with his head glued to my side.

Hope we don't get caught out for their lunchtime walk again - he ran away and jumped into a neighbour's car just as she was going shopping and wouldn't get out so we had to go and collect him.

Edit: Uh-oh - he's trying to climb into my lap - knew he would. Labrador, large, black. Can't type.

A B+ awarded for efforts here stormwise since 7am,cell after cell either nearby or overhead in SE13, the last cell at 930 really impressive Cg fork just at the end of the street and earsplitting thunder that set alarms off! Rainfall was torrential too.

That slice of strike-free atmosphere is 'amazing' isn't it? And it's pretty easy to see which way the electrical stuff is moving! You couldn't make it up. Grrrr!!

Seriously, though, very pleased for those getting a piece (or several pieces) of the action this morning.

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
