A song by the Partridge family , though I think none of them ever got to be moderators, especially Gavin who liked his Summer Sun too much..

A couple of tracks with the Model thread, in mind.

First one from The Eagles. Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh et al, with a message for all the "doom merchants", on there.

GET OVER IT!! Jeez it's only the weather, for pete's sake!!

And finally, an antidote to all that negativity. Genesis, post Peter Gabriel with Phil Collins, on lead vocals. The delightful, "Snowbound", from the "And then there were three" album.

Regards,

Tom. :hi:

Queen at Live Aid. An incredible performance from one of the greatest bands.

^ I really enjoy F Mercury stuff and that genre.

However, as an early riser as I am, this one calms me down for the day ahead and sometimes in the evening as well.

I appreciated it as a wee girl tinkering on the keyboard and still like it now.

This was on radio practically all the time in early summer 1980.
Just left school and had a short driving holiday in Northumberland with friend - who died suddenly ten years ago today.

Off to see Andy Burrows (former Razorlight drummer) tomorrow night at The Joiners in Southampton.

He did the soundtrack to the Snowman and the Snowdog too, so I imagine my Mrs and her mate will be in tears for the duration. :reindeer-emoji:

That was a jungle tune above baby D.

Reminding me of the jungle wave that hit in the mid 90`s.
