Already had a sharp shower this morning, it's looking dark out to the west again, could get a few storms later. Defo not a day to be putting ya washing on the line

I've stopped looking at the radar :( doomed to read storm reports rather than make them. I moved here from Northern Ireland and my home town has had thunderstorms everyday for the last week. Maybe it's me lol

looking at the radar we have a very heavy shower inbound, hopefully if we get a line of storms today it will be 2/3 miles further north

Yep looks like the Darlo rain shield is back again sending the heaviest stuff around us and we get the leading or back edge of the rain sunny again now

We're getting a lot more blue sky than yesterday here in Darlo which is letting me get the washing out and dried

We are in a big dry gap now with very little rain on the radar for this region so not bad at all today

We had a few showers early on but nothing since just after 9am very warm in the sun certainly feels warmer than the 21.1c we have now

Waiting for the sun to reappear as its only 15℃ at the moment. We did manage 17℃ around 9am then the heavy thundery showers came rolling in. Looking at the visible satellite images showing clearer skies incoming but that in turn will probably induce vigorous convection creating thunderstorms and torrential downpours, not that I'm complaining though..!!

plenty of ppn out to the west with the heavier stuff again further north which could affect north of newcastle, saying that southern part of it has just exploded over grange over sands, itll probs fizzle out by the time it gets here, tomorrow evening looks wet and thurs the pool comes bk out Posted Image
