Last Book You Read or Film You Watched?

Recommended Posts

ITV is going through the James Bond films at the moment, and while I've seen bits of some of them before, I've never had a chance to see them in sequence.  I missed Dr. No but have seen each of the films from From Russia with Love through to On Her Majesty's Secret Service.  So far, I've been finding them pretty good, although I recall there being some weaker entries later in the series before the return to form with the likes of Casino Royale and Skyfall.

Saw skyfall at Christmas not much in it casino royal with me for ratings.

Best roger moore has got to be The spy who loved me.

I much prefer the older bond movies.

Well watched this at the weekend, looks, smells and sounds like it should be carp, and whilst it will not win any awards, and uses every cliche in the book it was rather enjoyable (ish)

Stranded and Oblivion again.

Anyone-else here reckon that Wool would make a good movie?

How spooky, never heard of WOOL until earlier today and saw the book (there is also a sequal to it) when reviewing books to get during my lunch break.

Just watched GRAVITY.

I can see why it got/nominated for all the awards now, bloody fantastic film, had me on the edge of the bean bag the whole time.

Butterfly effect. It's a few years old, but this was the first time I've seen it. Time flip/time travel adventures...probably my favourite film genre ( even films panned by the critics, never disappoint ). Thought this was preety good too - perhaps could have been improved  by a different lead actor.

Watched The Island last night, and am reading The Singer by Cathi Unsworth.

Still not seen that, is it worth it though? I heard it was a bit cack.

Watched Gravity again last night (well why not, it is a rather good film) and as tonight is a sure fire nothing sensible to watch TV night I may watch the other DVD again I have rented (LOCKOUT I think it was called...) as it has to go back tomorrow.

Carry On Cabbie - on telly earlier this afternoon. As cheesy as Morrison's deli counter but lots more fun. Don't make 'em like that anymore etc...

Expendables 2...A good body-count!

Think Hardboiled with Chow Yun-fat may be higher.
