Unless your very high up i doubt very much you will be seeing snow for a while.

Its cold and wet out there, yuk!

    Not listening!

    I do disagree.

Be careful, or you might have to do a Backtrack socks or hats bet. ...Don't ask.

Yeah, I know what you mean, annoying.

Why don't you PM 1 of the mods and ask where it's gone?

You can see the uppers and thicknesses on here, those are most important.

Looking at that even at 3am it's very marginal with 529 DAM & -4 uppers, any heavy showers though will force the wintry showers/snow to the surface.

Not what I can see for my postcode. Shows us dropping below 528 DAM by 21Z tonight and remaining below that until Tuesday evening, with uppers remaining at -5 or below from late this evening until late tomorrow evening.

I think you are looking at city of London which it defaults to.

We will know if it will snow in Carlisle if it snows in Carlisle.

Likewise, We will know if it won't snow in Bootle if it doesn't snow in Bootle.

Were you around for 'snow watch' on the BBC Chris R or has my comment been lost on you?

Just being optimistic, and the point is that nowcasting is the thing to do. We won't know where is going to get snow until it happens.

Oh know. all my met office bookmarks aren't working anymore. It looks like I have to use the new webpages, but I don't like them. I'll have to redo all my bookmarks, and there's no tabular data for UK observations as far as I can see! What a joke!
