Do anyone here experience a thunderstorm today? Or am I the only lucky one?

I didn't see alot of lightning though. I managed to see one so far but that is when the T-storm past through to the East here. It was too misty underneath the T-storm.

Heres the T-storm Radar, the red dots is where the t-storms is at the moment:

Squall line gone through although we actually missed the thunder which went just above us, now the sky is going the most peculiar colour as the sun is setting and the dark clouds head east.

Did some painting on the car because it was such a nice warm day then within 20 minutes of doing it, the heaven's opened.Just hope that the paint dried in 19 minutes otherwise it's out with the sandpaper again tomorrow.

I ended up sanding it and re doing the paint again during a sunny period this afternoon and then right on cue the rain came again.Hopefully the paint was dry enough and the rain less intense than last night otherwise I'll end up needing another tin of spray paint.

Should be fine as long as it was touch dry before the rain

Yeh it seemed ok this time around and had the help of some heat from the sun on the wing just before the rain arrived.

I'll save it as a template and use it in the winter and when you say it's peeing down where you are I can gloat about the one advantage we have living up in the clouds.Although if current thoughts come true then the white stuff will be in short supply this winter and we'll be getting just as much rain as the rest of you.

Yep thundering here too, although not seen any lightening as yet. Massive area over Wales towards Chester area heading our way by the look of it

Same here, torrential rain, thunder and lightening even a bit of hail at the very end, all gone through now and sky brightening up as I type and I can see the odd patch of blue, however there are still distant rumbles.

As I coming home from work in Chorley I caught up in a Thunderstorm. It was lashing it down with rain, but no hail though and a few claps of lightning. I probably expect more to come this weekend as the main storm arrives on Sunday night.

There is a lot more heavy on the radar heading right for us.After the lightning and heavy rain earlier (4:30pm) this should slow the last of the rush hour down (If the M6 can get any slower)

Radar clearly shows the torrential storms as they crossed the region and looks to have plenty more waiting in the wings.

There was some minor flooding about as I came home from work, probably brought about by leaves blocking drains and with winds bringing more leaves down and plenty more rain forecast over the next few days it probably won't get much better.
