Bit breezy today and the cloud has built up in the last hour or so , but i'm hopeful the sun will win through..just hope the wind dies a bit , its taking the edge off the temps

Was out and about early this morning and in the shade it was bloody cold.Feels decent enough now but a lot fresher than yesterday and last weekend but after the crap we've endured for most of the last 12 months I'm not complaining.

Raining here but the bbc weather shows sunny spells. Another epic bbc weather fail.

You've dRawn the short straw by the looks of it.Been dry here all day and mainly sunny although still cool with a maximum of only 14'c.Hardly first day of summer stuff but better than what we've had recently.

Similar here, lovely in the sheltered sun but chilly in the shade and wind and when the cloud appeared, which was on and off all day

Another decent early summers day although yet again on the cold side in the breeze.

Still that's two dry and mainly sunny weekends running whereas last year we were lucky to get 2 dry hours together.

A very pleasant day :) More of the same tomorrow, Wednesday afternoon a tad cooler and cloudier, before Thursday-Sunday look like carbon copies of Yesterday/today/tomorrow :)

Dodgy thermometer alert I would say.Low 20's maybe but if you've recorded 26c then you're now holding the UK record for 2013.Agree with the wall to wall sunshine though and after a slightly cooler and partly cloudy day on Wednesday it looks like the end of the week and over the weekend will be back to sunny and getting warmer. It's certainly a better start to summer than last year.

If the foreceast is to be believed then today was the poor day with things looking up again for the remainder of the week, over the weekend and into next week.If that turns out to be correct then this will probably be the longest period of summery weather in over 12 months and even this is no heatwave. It just shows how our expectations have changed over the last few years.

I can't get over the forecast I am getting for here from netweather, it says it's going to rain every day at the same time (7pm) for the next week Posted Image

Looking at the charts I can see nothing which would give me the slightest hint of such weird weather, I can't see anything in the way of rain until about thursday next week !

I can only hope it's a quirk in the system somewhere but time will tell Posted Image

ps. weather station down for repair, ignore below wind charts

I don't know why some people are craving heat, this for is the most perfect type of weather.  Temps manageable low 20's - lots of sunny spells and a nice refreshing breeze.  When the thermometer starts getting past 25c humidity tends to rise and it's far from enjoyable.  Get into the 30's in the country and it's like a sweatbox.  You may as well get the deckchairs out in the local greenhouse.  No this week for me is just about perfect weather.

Disappointing start today, seems to be a repeat of yesterday. Overcast with no sign of the sun (yet)

Another fantastic days weather.

It's going to have to end at some stage but hopefully not in the near future.

Personally I'd settle for a breakdown around mid October and then straight into winter.

Obviously we will need rain so a decent overnight downpour once a week will do.

Not asking to much really is it.

Probably end around Tuesday or Wednesday, either way this has been one of the nicest spells of weather I can remember. Proper blue skies and strong sunshine during the day and not hot and sticky of a night. Temperatures in the day around 20-23C and dropping close to single figures at night.

I'd take this weather all year round and gladly miss out winter.
