Must be having that clear slot, temperature plummeting, 4.2C, I suspect it'll rise when the cloud over your way reaches.

Nothing falling, just cloud. Stopped rising now, 4.8 from 3.4C 10 minutes ago.

Lots of cloud here without any precipitation, though I think we have a burst before. Im listening to music with my headphones, so can't hear anything.

strike display shows an imminent shower with an estimated total of 5 mm and a peak rate of 20 MMHR. Interesting.

yes think I can hear graupel starting. 6.4C.

stopped again. Strange. 6.2C.

Think I caught the edge of it as it passed to the west, will prob hit Liverpool/Wallasey area.

evaporative cooling now in the showers, rain shower heavy and the temperature decreased nearly a degree. Gone from 4.8C to 3.9C in a short time. Snow is definitely possible, but no chance of settling. The winds have markedly increased too.

Just had a 'wintry' shower here. Ice pellets in with the rain, could hear it hitting the window. Some heavy stuff coming into the Wirral/Chester area at present, judging by the radar.

rain and hail mixed now, temperature actually rising, so suggests the sea is having a moderating influence. Getting gusts of up to 30mph now too.

Steady decline in temperature now, no rises or instability, that would suggest the cold airmass is here now. 0C by morning is a possibility (with or without showers!)
