The media and their relationship with so called weather experts. Naming no names.

What makes me laugh is the media describe these forecasters as experts? Experts?!

One went for a freezing snowy winter just gone.

All I can say he hasn't got any shame. No apology, no nothing.

What narks me is the media have had a go at the Met Office over failed long range forecasts in the past but keep returning to these bozos. Yet no front page criticising them when failed.

No, they are described as "experts". They go back to them. You never see an editorial criticising them.

Another thing that gets me, is this is then spread by word of mouth but people who have little interest or don't understand the weather, don't realise there are numerous weather forecasting companies. They see it as gospel. They see the weatherman on the TV and think they did the forecast when they haven't.

When it goes pear shape, all weather forecasters are then tarred with the same brush as haven't a clue, I could forecast better etc.

Just watched my BBC local news and they were on about the Midlands Asian business awards! What ticks me off, is if there was a white man's business awards, there would be up roar, well it wouldn't be allowed full stop. why not just have Midlands business awards for all races, as in one event, I mean the last thing i heard was no pork on the menu at certain Subway outlets, because Muslims cannot eat pork or consume any non-halal meat,ok it's because of their beliefs, but i can! It just seems to me Asians can do what the hell they like, when they like.....when will this ever end?

People that get stroppy for no apparent reason and do not let on why yet "assume" everyone around them knows why.

Cultural assimilation occurs when a group's native language and culture are lost after they are forced to take on the language and culture of another group.

Like i said "when will this ever end?"....Cultural assimilation...... Seems to be going that way :ninja:

Attention seekers, self centred people and back stabbers really, really annoy me.

Going out and it decides to rain on your washing or going out to photograph bluebells and the instant you get there the sun goes in. Arriving back at your car the sun comes back out.

This idiot should have the whole bookcase thrown at him!

A man riding a mobility scooter was milliseconds away from bringing the third stage of the Women's Tour of Britain to a crashing halt in Essex on Friday.
