People using this thread to have (un)usubtle digs at one another..

People who lack even basic manners. People who don't even acknowledge my existence when I hold a door open for them ranks number 1 on my "bloodboil 'o' meter". Ironically, I find overly polite people

Over the top political correctness, coupled with a complete lack of common sense. Prime example being a small town local to here. They've bought a new flag pole for the town hall, were choosing which

Totally agree with the first bit! But I don't think anyone can be overly polite. Posted Image

I once saw someone say "Cheers" to a vending machine, that's my definition of overly polite! There is also a woman who I deliver to that is so busy thanking me - "Thanks, cheers, brilliant, that's great" etc etc for me to get a word in edge ways! Their heart is in the right place, though...unless they do it to get rid of me?!

Another thing that irks me is when people pronounce "room" as "rum". Absolutely infuriating.

People that post off topic replies around the forum and then complain when it's removed.

Especially those that usually start with 'sorry mods if this is off topic but...'

Damn, need to stop the off topic apologies then.

Commuters who use the trains as extensions of their office and tap loudly on their laptop keyboards and shout while using their mobiles so that everyone can hear their conversations. It's amazing that 20 years ago, when you left the office, that was it for the day. Now people don't seem to realise how they are basically tied to work 24/7 because of mobiles, blackberry's etc. Muppets!!

    Enormous hypocrisy:

e.g. High ranking Catholic churchmen moralising about anything frankly when the Catholic church has permitted the most disgusting of crimes to be perpetrated on defenceless children and has shown itself to be devoid of any morals.

    or along the same lines

Black Anglican Archbishops who would be hugely upset (and rightly so) if I discriminated against them because of their colour but who seem to think that it's ok for them to discriminate against gays by being against gay marriage.

Surely if discrimination is wrong then it is wrong on ALL grounds, not just the ones you cherry pick to suit you?
