GFS at t144

Upper would bring rain to the south and NOT snow they are too high

UKMO isn't the same as the GFS set up the low is in a different place, at the moment I'd favour rain / sleet for the south over snow (the SE would be the exception to this)

but the gfs does, and to t144 they are pretty similar.

The GFS is a long way different to the UKMO before hand- but for some they dont see the difference- GFS has a milder plume which will more than likely be wrong-

UKMO is very cold at the surface with widespread snow-

GFS will be cold at the surface with snow for the North-

I would bet my house on the UKMO over the GFS- as the GFS has been quite poor over the winter....

PS gavin the 0c isotherm will not make it into the UK at 144 on the UKMO
