UK Outlook for Monday 24 Sep 2018 to Wednesday 3 Oct 2018:

Strong winds may persist in the far east or northeast on Monday morning, but otherwise a much quieter spell of weather is expected during Monday and Tuesday with a good deal of dry and bright weather across the UK. It is likely to be cool overnight with frost possible in some prone areas and fog is also expected in places. Despite some sunshine by day temperatures will overall be fairly cool. Through the rest of this period any wet and windy weather is likely to be confined to the northwest with drier, brighter conditions expected across the southeast which are likely to extend to all areas at times. There will still be some cool nights but by day temperatures may well be warm.

UK Outlook for Thursday 4 Oct 2018 to Thursday 18 Oct 2018:

Settled conditions are expected to dominate across much of the UK through the beginning of this period, bringing a good deal of dry and bright weather with any brief wet and windy spells likely to be confined to the northwest of the UK. Increasingly long nights gives a greater risk of patches of fog forming overnight and some places may also see some frost. Despite chilly nights, any sunshine by day will give a rather warm feel. Later on in this period there is considerable uncertainty in the forecast with a chance that some more unsettled weather may become established again.

UK Outlook for Tuesday 25 Sep 2018 to Thursday 4 Oct 2018:

For most of the UK it looks like the weather should remain largely settled through the rest of September. Most places will have long sunny periods and generally light winds. However, some mist and fog patches will form during the nights. The far north and northwest will most likely turn a little more changeable through next week with some rain and strong winds. Weakening bands of rain are expected to push southeastwards across the UK but they will become increasingly patchy as they go. Days will be warm for many, at least at first, but nights will be chilly with some localised frost. Into the start of October many parts are set to remain mostly settled, though some wet and windy weather is possible further north.
