UK Outlook for Tuesday 26 Jun 2018 to Thursday 5 Jul 2018:

The final week of June will see plenty of dry and sunny weather across most of the UK, with only the far north and northwest seeing cloudier skies at times, with rain possible. With the fine weather, temperatures will continue to rise for all parts, but especially so in the south where it could turn hot. The heat may spark an isolated thunderstorm, with the risk increasing towards next weekend, especially over high ground, although the majority will stay dry. As we head into the start of July confidence reduces, but most areas should continue to see plenty of fine, sunny and very warm weather. Northern and some western areas may however begin to see cloudier conditions pushing in, with the chance of some rain and stronger winds here.

UK Outlook for Friday 6 Jul 2018 to Friday 20 Jul 2018:

Although confidence remains low through July, early indications bring a good deal of dry and settled weather across many parts of the UK. However, there are some signs that more changeable weather may develop at times, especially in the north, and possibly the west, potentially leading to cloud, stronger winds and some rain. Where it turns more changeable it will also become cooler, but where the dry and settled weather continues, it will remain very warm, especially in the south and southeast.

UK Outlook for Saturday 7 Jul 2018 to Saturday 21 Jul 2018:

It is too early to give any specific detail for July, but the likelihood is that we will see a good deal of dry and settled weather across many parts of the UK. There are some early indications that in the north and west, more changeable conditions could bring cloudier skies, and possibly some wet and windy weather at times. There is also the chance that the warm weather could lead to a few thunderstorms in the south of the UK, but on the whole it will be a mainly dry and warm picture.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 4 Jul 2018 to Friday 13 Jul 2018:

Widespread very warm sunshine is expected to continue on Wednesday across the country. It will feel hot in the south but less warm near northern coasts. Another warm night is expected too, particularly in urban areas. There is a possibility of thunderstorms developing in the southwest of England later on Wednesday, and these may spread across the south of England and south Wales more generally on Thursday. However, the rest of the UK will stay dry and sunny. It will tend to stay rather cloudy in the south over next weekend but northern sunshine will probably continue. During the following week very warm sunshine will return to most places, though northern parts may see more cloud, and perhaps even rain at times in the far north.

There are some indications that in the north and west, more changeable conditions could bring cloudier skies and possibly some wet and windy weather at times. There may also be some interludes of more unsettled, cooler weather bringing outbreaks of rain or showers across the rest of the UK, however these will be short lived so dry and fine weather is likely for most of the time.

UK Outlook for Thursday 5 Jul 2018 to Saturday 14 Jul 2018:

Thursday and Friday will stay largely dry with plenty of sunshine, but with the risk of isolated thunderstorms, especially in the south. Temperatures will widely remain well above the average, with very warm or hot conditions and probably feeling humid in the south, with some warm nights too, especially in urban areas. Into the weekend and it looks like high pressure builds from the Atlantic, with much of the UK becoming dry with warm sunny spells. However, there is the risk of cloudier and breezier conditions with the chance of some rain in the far north and northwest. Into next week and we hold onto the dry, settled and warm conditions in the south, but perhaps some rain at times, especially in the far north.

Just a thought summer sun, ive noticed two threads for met office updates , one for the 10 day ahead forecasts and the other for 16 to 30 day forecast.  Why not incorporate them into a single thread as I think it will save people clicking from one thread to another. ?  Just a suggestion that's all.
