UK Outlook for Thursday 28 Jun 2018 to Thursday 12 Jul 2018:

It will perhaps be changeable in the north at first, with a mixture of sunny spells and showers, or longer spells of rain which would be heaviest in the northwest. More settled and drier weather already in the south may soon develop elsewhere though, and then last through much of the period. It is possible that the northwest may see cooler conditions, with potentially spells of rain, however, very warm or hot spells are most likely in the south.

UK Outlook for Tuesday 19 Jun 2018 to Thursday 28 Jun 2018:

Cloudier skies are expected in the northwest on Tuesday and Wednesday, with rain at times that may be heavy, but many other areas will be fine and dry. It will be windy in the northwest and temperatures will be near normal here, but further south and eastwards it will become warm, or very warm for some. The changeable conditions will continue, with most places seeing sunny spells interspersed with scattered showers. There will possibly be some longer spells of rain in the northwest too, where it will be windy at times. Through the period temperatures will average out near normal, but it is likely to stay warmer in the south and east, with a general trend to more settled conditions for all areas for the last week of June.

UK Outlook for Friday 29 Jun 2018 to Friday 13 Jul 2018:

It will perhaps be changeable in the north at first, with a mixture of sunny spells and showers, or longer spells of rain, however there will be a general trend to more settled conditions for all into the start of July. Areas of high pressure are likely to be to the west of the UK, bringing the potential that frontal systems could affect northern and western areas at times. This means the northwest will see cooler conditions, with occasional spells of rain, while for the south and east it will be mostly dry, with warm or very warm temperatures.

Looks like, on balance, those of us away from the Northwest, can expect a good deal of warm/very warm weather over the coming month? I'm quite pleased that the word 'hot' has disappeared from the outlooks though: if very warm means 5C above the seasonal norm, then 28C, in mid-July is quite 'hot' enough for me!:good:

UK Outlook for Wednesday 20 Jun 2018 to Friday 29 Jun 2018:

The middle of next week is looking fine for many central and southern areas with the most prolonged sunshine towards the southeast, where it will be warmest. In the north and west it should be cloudier, with rain at times, and here it will be windy with near normal temperatures. The mainly fine and warm weather looks set to remain in the south through the rest of next week and into the following weekend, but there is the chance of some showers. Further north it will stay more changeable with showers and more persistent spells of rain, but also some drier and brighter interludes. Towards the end of the month, there are signs the more settled weather will spread to northern parts of the UK.

UK Outlook for Saturday 30 Jun 2018 to Saturday 14 Jul 2018:

Early indications are that early July should bring a good deal of dry and settled weather to many parts. Northern and western areas are more likely to see some changeable spells with showers and some more persistent rain possible. However, here there should still be some drier interludes. There is likely to be a northwest/southeast split in temperatures too, with northwest generally staying cooler whilst towards the southeast it is expected to be very warm at times.

I thought yesterday was  nice here. Today is your typical  English summer day. Windy and   clouds coming and going and not very warm.. Hopefully we wont have to deal with this weather  for long. like we have over the last decade. But I wouldn't hold my breath.

UK Outlook for Thursday 21 Jun 2018 to Saturday 30 Jun 2018:

Thursday is likely to be dry and fine across the whole of the UK with very little wind. Temperatures will be around normal for the time of year, that is, warm and pleasant, though perhaps slightly less warm than Tuesday and Wednesday. The mainly fine and warm weather looks set to continue in central and southern areas on Friday and throughout next weekend. Further north it will probably become more changeable with showers and more persistent spells of rain developing, but also some drier and brighter interludes. In the last week of the month, dry and fine weather is fairly likely to continue in southern and central regions and there are signs that the more settled weather may spread back into northern parts of the UK

UK Outlook for Sunday 1 Jul 2018 to Sunday 15 Jul 2018:

Early indications are that the first half of July may well bring a good deal of dry and settled weather across the UK, particularly in southern and eastern parts, where temperatures are expected to be warm, and sometimes very warm. Northern and western areas are more likely to see some changeable spells with showers and more persistent rain, keeping temperatures to more normal levels. However, even here there will be plenty of drier and warmer interludes.

UK Outlook for Friday 22 Jun 2018 to Sunday 1 Jul 2018:

Friday is expected to be a largely fine and dry day across the UK with plenty of warm sunshine. It is also likely to be less humid than recent days have been. However as we head into the weekend it may turn cloudier and breezier across northwestern parts with some outbreaks of rain possible at times. During the last week of the month dry, fine and sometimes very warm weather is expected to continue in southern and central parts and this fine, settled weather is also expected for much of the week across northern parts of the country too. However, at times conditions will become unsettled and rather cold in the northwest with short-lived spells of rain or showers possible along with stronger winds.

Looks like normal summer fayre to be honest. South east of a line from Bristol to the Wash, pretty damn good, sunny and very warm, north and north-west of that line, very mediocre, damp and drizzly with the odd heavier burst I would imagine. Average summer weather, nought to get excited about.

the meto show a wide spectrum of weather occurring in the same space that the models are projecting locked in heat. don't know whose backsides they're pulling that from. likely the same one that claimed may would be below average. useless they are.

UK Outlook for Monday 25 Jun 2018 to Wednesday 4 Jul 2018:

The final week of June will see plenty of dry and sunny weather across most of the UK, with only the far north and northwest seeing cloudier skies at times, with occasional rain. With the fine weather, temperatures will continue to rise for all parts, but especially so in the south where it could turn hot. The heat may spark an isolated thunderstorm although the majority will stay dry. As we head into the start of July confidence reduces, but most areas should continue to see plenty of fine, sunny and very warm weather. Northern and some western areas may begin to see cloudier conditions pushing in with the chance of some rain and stronger winds.

UK Outlook for Thursday 5 Jul 2018 to Thursday 19 Jul 2018:

Although confidence remains low through the first half of July, early indications bring a good deal of dry and settled weather across many parts of the UK. However, there are some signs that more changeable weather may develop at times, especially in the north and possibly the west potentially leading to cloud, stronger winds and some rain. Where the dry and settled weather continues it will remain very warm, especially in the south. Where it turns more changeable it will also become cooler.
