kind of defeats the object Gav don't you think?

even a thermometer and a barometer out the poundshop would be a start for ya own location.

You can get an all singing all dancing one for 30 quid, and for 100 quid a pretty decent one with wireless, etc. and software.

Sorry peter - that was meant to be a post for Gavin mainly - I keep forgetting that only the last post actually appears when you quote a thread.

Where have you got yours? Is it different places completely? Or different locations in your garden?

(and do you have them running to 2 PCs?)

never had a pick of bother with either and original batteries still in both outdoor transmitters.

cumulus by far the better software.

Cheers guys. Seems that the temps are dropping off nicely.

To compare, I still have a temp of 6.9ºC and dewpoint of 5.6ºC.

Temp is still 2.5c here as it was at 7am.

I use weather display as my WS isn't compatible with Cumulus.

Is it easy to get 2 back to one PC and have them display separately?

Re. radar... is there such a thing as an Inverness streamer?? :o

I had that one until my wife accidently dropped it - it worked well up til that point. Now I have a vantage vue on the garage roof and that is great.

The band of showers is intensifying as it heads south towards Aberdeenshire. This could signify the colder air..
