A mild night with occasional light rain. The last few showery outbreaks have cleared in the last couple of hours and it's currently dry and sunny.

Still a few snow patches and drifts remaining despite the high temperature yesterday.

just driven back from keswick and the wind is very strong interesting what the gusts will make today.still snow on the peaks in the lake district

Sunny for most of the morning before heavy squally showers moved in during the afternoon briefly. It then turned dry again with a rapid dryout due to the low humidity and high winds. The max gust of 44mph was the highest since 16th October.
