A mild night with occasional light rain. The last few showery outbreaks have cleared in the last couple of hours and it's currently dry and sunny.

Still a few snow patches and drifts remaining despite the high temperature yesterday.

At 0900;

Staying very mild overnight with a few more spells of light rain. The day dawned cloudy and damp. Turning brighter toward observation.

just driven back from keswick and the wind is very strong interesting what the gusts will make today.still snow on the peaks in the lake district

Mild and blustery with sunny spells and a light shower this morning. Maximum 11.8, minimum 7.9. Wind fresh SW.

Sunny spells and dry today. Strong SW to west wind gusting gale force this afternoon. mIld but windchill significant.

A dry, windy and mainly sunny morning. The afternoon was cloudy with several squally showers of rain and ice pellets.

Sunny for most of the morning before heavy squally showers moved in during the afternoon briefly. It then turned dry again with a rapid dryout due to the low humidity and high winds. The max gust of 44mph was the highest since 16th October.

Max Temp: 10.9C

Min Temp: 6.3C

Rainfall: 0.8mm

Max Mean Wind: 21mph SW

High Gust: 44mph

Currently partly cloudy and dry at 6.8C and 85% humidity.
