Save the biggest flakes till last? Finally see some heavy stuff, its settling now on all wet surfaces, bar the wet road.. I'm satisified now, 2 snow events; Friday & Sunday and tonight's big flakes.. good.gif

Struggling to lay in Newton Abbot due to soaking ground from previous heavy rain during the day

I am surprised as I thought temps and dew points would be falling but they seem to be rising here 0.5c dew point 0.4c humidity 99% shame really as we still have precipitation like an icy sleety rainhelp.gif

I'm glad we had decent snow on Friday because tonight would have been a massive disappointment otherwise. I have about 1-2cm of slushy mess in garden from tonight, but it could have been an epic event if it was colder.

Hope we have another decent snow event in February :)

Unfortunately you're on a forum full of snow lovers wub.png

I'm glad you're out helping the people who are struggling with this weather, and not sat on a weather forum because that would be ironic laugh.png

I'm pretty sure that whether people love snow or hate it, it actually makes no difference to what weather we get.

Been snowing in Yeovil none stop since 3pm, still going now, easily 10cm or more on the deck. Took 5 hours to get from Fordingbridge to Yeovil this afternoon/evening.

I've just realised that the snow from Friday, the bit overnight last night and the stuff from tonight add up to a grand total of eleven and a half inches! It would have been better if none of it had thawed in between times, but nigh on a foot of snow is not bad given this is the mild SW.

I feel a bit like Oliver with his porridge bowl, but please Sir, may I have some more? Please, please, please can that gaping hole showing on the radar, fill in with snow and carry on all night.
