Looking at the 3.45 Met office Radar the very heavy stuff (reds appearing) "looks" to be heading pretty much in our direction, the whole band also looks pretty epic to be honest.

Also as we are further north and the band is pulling in colder air, and it's getting towards nigh time this could be pretty dam good if we are lucky.

Cant look, lol.

NAE for 6-12pm

I know.

Some of the areas of PPn looks unreal!

Lets hope it works its way up here!

The nowcasting style of this event is fascinating. Places around me are snowing but not here! Filton, Frenchay apparently has light snow. But from my desk, unless the office windows are filthy I'm seeing nothing in Stoke Gifford. Sandwiched between the two!

My hometown looks to be in a good position if latest NAE was to verify.

EDIT: OK i was wrong managed to peel myself away from the desk and it is snowing outside. Will be a fun drive home at 5....

AT 0.9c, DP 0.3C, wet sleety snowflakes falling but this is just the beginnings.

Take care folks when travelling later, as the Temperature will continue to drop during the heavier bits.

If it's any consolation, nothing just up the road from you either!!

I haven't seen snow like this for quite some time. Seriously thick and heavy!

To think, i live between two tidal rivers, close to Poole back waters and i'm only 10m above sea level and we have this type of snow.

Big, wet snowflakes have been falling for just over half an hour now. Just starting to stick the the pavements where last friday's snow has been cleared away. If this keeps up we may see a decent amount in a couple of hours! good.gif
