I think we're going to be let down. :(

Like I suspected earlier, it's becoming more and more fragmented at the back edge. We could be lucky and hit but the chances of 5-10CM+... ? unsure.png

Am thinking the same...shame

Hopefully it stalls, which will mean that showers will catch up with the main front making the band of precipitation larger and heavier!

Thats the only way I see this producing +5-10cm

It looks like SE Wales is going to be hit with moderate-heavy snow shortly and then we'll see what happens.

It's never been forecast to move further north than central/north midlands so it might hit a brick wall shortly. Hopefully while over us. smile.png

Snowing in Newport. Between light and moderate at the moment but it's definitely not falling elegantly! The wind is blowing it all over the place. blum.gif

Love it when snow just falls veritcally, its also better for accumulation, when its being blown in the wind, snow gets stuck on the side of lampposts and houses, then its just a waste!

Think it's to wet for any snow to stick now

It doesnt matter how wet it is, last night roads were wet, and snow was still settling on there! Woke up to an inch of snow on the roads!

If it colds enough and the snow is heavy enough snow will stick on wet ground.
