On my met forecast it is showing heavy snow for this after noon, where is this coming from?

Yes, I'm confused too as we show snow all day - but the radar looks like we'll get snow until 11 or so and then there's nothing else showing beyond that... Unless it stalls or rotates back again? Anyone with more knowledge in this area?

about 10 miles north of keswick, just up from Bassenthwaite Lake, how much snow is there in your part?

Snow here is just on the right side of wet, which is ok if it stays that way. Perfect snow for snowmen and snowballs when the kids get home.

1st 2 pics look very familiar for some reason . Looks about the same amount we've got here in Norbreck, still coming down lightly but seems to be a bit wet. Sticking every surface apart

from roads, pavements patchy now.. Temp now showing 1.2c.. Radar looks to be pepping up above me again. Hopefully some of whatshisnames (with the Everton avatar's) powder

Meto give Blackpool light snow till 6pm! Interesting there's a heavy snow icon at 9am - wasn't there last night. Didn't know the met office did nowcasting!
