Just got in from work and the little amount of snow that accumulated here last night has gone.

It is now just cold, wet and raining.

lets hope that the temperature drops as the sun goes down and this last little bit of showers drops a nice cover to end this....non event for us.

Well it's currently 1.5C, I think it's game over for this cold spell for us

Its around 2.4°C with lots of melting going on now, I just hope it stays cloudy over night and the untreated roads and pavements don't Ice up

My girlfriend has a lot to answer for, if I had never met her, I would have most likely still been living in Stanley and working in Consett!

Would people in those areas say there is more snow than 2010? I fear I have missed out on what would have been the biggest snow even in my lifetime

Also just had a thought, what happened to Persian Paladin from Durham? Haven't seen him on here for what feels like years.
