I think it's safe to say that the Beeb/Met Office underestimated snow totals today.

Looking at the depths posted I think the heavier stuff was actually further west in the end.

For Central/East London mate i must say we seem to have been under a straight North sweet spot...been amazing...8am started still snowing and hasnt got m all day....fantastic for me...Sure im through to 2nd round ...well ok maybe not

I think there will be a lot of people 'working from home' or on 'sick leave' tomorrow, but if you do have to go out please drive carefully and for goodness sakes get all the snow off your car before you set off.....

Even if your car is iced over please, please clear the windows. My dad was recently killed on the footpath by a driver who appears to not have cleared his windscreen/windows.

Wow just wow

I have spent the most amazing day with my 2 year old son and my wife today

I am just so glad it came on a Sunday as I missed his face on Friday being at work

Everyone we met on our little adventure today were very happy and everyone just spoke to everyone

Snow really does bring everyone together

I have had the best day ever and if that is the end of this cold spell I'm not bothered anymore

Today was truly magical and my son is going to bed now hopefully with the memories that we had in 91
