Not seen a flake here even though the radar reckons we've had pulses of moderate stuff over us. Looks like for once this cold spell... Leicester's luck has ran out laugh.png

Bad luck bro. Agreed that the radar has been a bit misleading for some places tonight.

Had some light snow here which has given cars a sugar coating... Radar looks intresting to south west... Be luck to get the stuff over Worcestershire. Sleep now and see what there is in the morning! Good luck guys

Yeah there's still a lot lying here, though the road has turned very icy. How long do you think it'll stay like this?

As long as we stay below freezing, and so far up at this altitude it's been most of the week, probably a bit of a slow thaw coming later tomorrow it the temp goes up above freezing, but here on the west side it takes awhile for the sun to come round and then it's often through hill fog so if we have any thaw here it won't be much before it gets cold again overnight.

Dropping towards freezing again now, and wet portions of the side road are coated slightly again. What has been interesting, certainly in this area, has been the persistence of snow over this spell. Although mostly smaller flakes, it's been going long enough to give a very decent total accumulation. 0.2oC.
