Morning all. I just watched the local weather forecast on the BBC and it seems the north of the region could be in for significant snow overnight and into Tuesday. With hardly any thaw since the last heavy fall, with trees, bushes and roofs still heavily laden with snow and with still a good 12cm of level snow on my back lawn, the results of another good fall could be spectacular!

Plenty of time for things to go wrong but keeping my fingers crossed!

That front is sliding. Doesn't look likely to reach Plymouth.......sorry.gif

Not a flake so that's the second chance of snow gone cray.gif

Still no snow in S Devon really thought it was our time and that Cornish front might clip us. -5 dew point -3 temp and no nothing falling from the sky. Am very happy for those in Cornwall that have snow but would very much like to see a flake this winter

Concur with previous comments that the front has slid into the channel but local weather still suggests it will move up to the coasts. Evil to see how that would happen but we live in hope. The radar shows Penzance is getting some snow which must be a very rare event indeed.

Still haven't seen snow in my part of Devon this winter, looks like the chance today has gone.

More southerly tracking extent of the feature could be a good omen for the Mon/Tues much more potent feature for snow further S and W than forecast yesterday.

From having light snow all day I have woken to the met app showing one flake in the evening!! So what ever sir fergie has to say this eve on points west i dosent include banes/west wilts.

For which day? Today or tomorrow?

Some parts of the West Country could see a real dumping tomorrow if the front moves in slowly, stalls and then retreats/slides away!

My prediction is a lot of snow across Dartmoor/East Devon/Somerset and getting less but still a fresh covering towards Wiltshire/Bath as the front reaches

this far before retreating/sliding.

Latest local BBC weather shows most of the snow around Bristol North and SE Wales
