Guys im going for a little drive round the M25 west- anywhere that has some decent hills / bit of easy to get to snow fun-

Out round the M25- towards Clackett that sort of location

Ok, Kaddy has a task for us all. Measure the snow depth, then tweet your location and depth of snow to @KaddyLP and she'll report the results at 10:30 tonight on South East Today.

Kaddy seemed confident of 1-2cm in Kent this evening then 1-2cm tomorrow then looking at up to 5cm, possibly more on Sunday!

She asked for people around Kent to tweet her their location and snow depths this evening to @KaddyLP

Well I have been out with the ruler and we have 7cm in Purley smile.png

Have photo proof, but unable to upload on phone.

Where abouts are you in Purley, some of the hilly roads get lots - we've measured 9cm on our garden table here on the Wallington/Purley border:)

According to the radar, it should be stopping any moment now. What a fantastic day for snow!cold.gif And who knows, we might even be lucky enough for a bit more if the edge of the Channel snow hits us laugh.png

yup for once we were in the sweet spot !! whatever happens from here on out I'm a happy camper ! really did not expect this evenings top up either ...what a bonus that was !

SUPRISE NEWS

Is now going for snow tonight & possibly a few cms here & there before a chance of a further 7cms across all parts of the se into sunday. Into monday looks dry & cold but tuesday shows yet more snow.

Box hill is KT20 7LB - the zig zag road may well be closed but the route through box hill village should be ok...

Chipstead area - Banstead woods cr5 3nr :)
