Same Here temp rose from -1.2c late afternoon to -0.2c now. ??

-5 here now!!temp has dropped by 4 degrees in the last hour freezing all the snow!!its crunch time 😜!!

Beautiful blue sky contrasting with the whiteness below this morning.

Only problem is the snow is starting to drop off the trees, so I thought I would capture the view from my office window (home worker) before it was gone.

The gfs is showing a band of snow reaching as far North as Leicester tonight, looks to be light on the Northern edge but areas like Northampton and Warwickshire may get another covering. Something to look out for!

I presume that's the lump of precipitation coming over the channel from around the Channel Islands at the moment.

NMM has that precip coming pretty close to Leicester, within 5 or 10 miles almost.

Started off blue sky, but its clouded up now. Temp -0.6

No snow forecast for us in Earl Shilton, unless anyine knows otherwise. But it does look like it might snow. Wishful thinking?

Thick fog here in Moulton, Northants. Temp -0.7c and dewpoint of -2.2c Pressure 1001.5 and has been almost stationery since 09:00

MetO warning for snow is for further south west and wales, doesn't extend as far north as here - perhaps 50 miles or so off.

There is still hope if they are wrong about the north extent, though.

I think the general forecast is for it to die down as the precipitation comes in, we may get the odd flurry but nothing too extensive from it.
