In fairness yesterday's Nae06z was predicting 35mm or 35 cm of snow for this area, so they had to give that warning out because it's better to put it out and not happen than for it to happen and not put it out.

Well the way it's coming down at the moment maybe they aren't too far off with 35cm actually

Throwing it down.

35cm might well be seen on some of the mountains.

It's pretty epic right now. Netweather extra shows the snow intensifying rapidly

Cleaned path early now within 10/15mins the path's got 1or2 cm on it, i think that was the heavest snow we've had.

Nice to see possibilities of more snow to come normally we get one off events ,Sunday /Monday the looks good for round2 when a LP develops over France and runs N west across the UK,so more opportunities coming up.

The front has most definitely stalled so I'd be expecting snow for SE Wales for at least the next 2 hours, perhaps longer.

Almost stalled in the south but not quite from looking at the animation of satellite imagery:

However, notice that it's starting to slowly pivot around Northern Ireland as forecast.

Yes. The Bristol Channel looks to throw some more the way of SE Wales.

while looking at the sat have you seen this line running through the channel where clouds are bubbling up it looks awsome on the animation

If it carries on at this intensity it's going to be a good few more inches to come here. Cleaned snow off car window and it's already covered again

Looks like the front has finally stalled in a line from Blackpool- Manchester - Nottingham down to London. is it forecast to sink back south-west ?

Stopped in Swansea now - melting already - temp 1 degree. Will it last until this evening ?
