Il be very disappointed if the snow stops now. Was expecting it to last all day at least until 6pm.... I've got 5inches of snow tho. Best since 2010 but no where near 2010 levels when we had well over a foot

Got maybe just under an inch here, was hoping for more but atleast I still got some snow! Gone to very small flakes now, don't expect it will last long!

6 inches here too. Looks like a pretty widespread depth.

Snow has stopped for now.

Just looked at models, so this is going to break down back to adlantic on friday? Any pro here at moment

A less cold period does seem more likely end of next week, in the south at least. However another very cold week to come before then with more snow opportunities. After the less cold blip, interentsingly Matt H said earlier the latest EC 32 also picks up on a less cold period before a strong signal for a greenland high with very cold NE'lies. We shall see, hopefully we cab get another snow event before a potential for a less cold period end of next week.

Still tho January has been a good close no matter what next month holds :) if feb is back to normal I dont see it as a terrible thing its nice when its sesonal like this back to the good old days.

Anyone know why that band building up near the coast is struggling to make landfall?

Splitting front?

Stopped here swansea west for last hour now , very light fine grains floating about....looks darker though where the precip is...is it going to come on land or just tease?

Want more want more !!
