Wow. Just wow.

just saw ure name ,hahaha.The school always closes with an inch of snow as buses say they wanna pick up early.The kids come here from miles around.

Looks like the snow albeit will continue for much of the night in this region.

My current estimates are 2-5cm in the NE of this region, 7-10cm in the SW of this region. However it will all come down to luck and the radar.

Hi TEITS, with regards to your estimates, are they for the period till 6 tomorrow morning, as the chart is showing?

That chart looks a bit better for my area than the NMM midnight run.

Keep an eye on this by the way because this is for Sunday.

Note the band of snow into N France as this is going to move NW into our region during Sunday. The 18Z NAE should tell us more.

Cold wind out there and a few flakes blowing around. Trying to edit large document while willing that precipitation on via the radar - with a bit of luck by 6pm I'm hoping to have some sort of pages edited to snow depth ratio on the go!

Yep Sunday also looks like potential for more snow. GFS 0z at T+63:

Had another 2-3cm overnight and it's snowing already here when it wasn't expected until lunchtime. We had snow in some form everyday this week and on the lawn we must be up to 5 inches. Roads have been bad (I got couldn't get my car out one morning). If this continues it goes beyond "it's pretty" to being "can't get out now". When will it all stop?

Been off-line for 2 hours while the BT man was checking my broadband problems. It does look like it's moving across a little faster than forecast. We weren't expecting anything until mid-afternoon but I suspect we'll be getting a few grains in the air within an hour.

In fact, I hope we do because the poor man mentioned the weather to me and probably regretted it. As he left I told him there will be light snow within 2 hours.

Not Lowestoft, but Beccles, had another 3 - 4 inches overnight, and still snowing now! Who needs the main band?
