Starting to stick now at last, 2nd dusting today, had one at 9am

the pavments here are covered! id even say the snow was moderate to heavy, a few miles really does make a distance, you got so much more than here monday!

Sunday night I got more, but monday was mainly rain and sleet, still bits of snow left in places

UPDATE: MetO and BBC now showing heavy snow for stoke on trent till midnight.

They are bang on right at the moment, lets really see how long it will last

Didn't see this one coming so tomorrow will be another day full of surprises!!

Very light snow in Solihull since about half past three this afternoon, nothing heavy but everything has slowly turned white since it got dark. Very nice, and very unexpected.

Did you think as the main band of snow will intensify as it comes over the Irish sea tomorrow ?

That main band on the radar, once it hits land is it going to be moving the same direction as it is now??

The snow has slowly increased in intensity as the evening has wore on, but it's still mostly light...moderate at best. We have a good dusting now, probably nearly a cm. We still had a good snow cover from Monday evening's showers so this has added to it.

Still snowing here in Brownhills. A nice little surprise before the main event, which i would like to remind those who are moaning, hasnt happened yet. These flurries were not forecast.

they were forecast as early as Tuesday by the NAE model, but it was on its own, very windy out there now!
