sod all here that raintoday radar is horrendous its dying from the east and the west,hopefully saturday will produce as the winds swing east

Bloody Wales, how lucky are they going to be tomorrow! I feel relieved in a way that i've brought myself down now to zero expectation. Whatever falls now we be a pleasant surprise. Tomorrow the only thing I can be guaranteed of; is a bone-chilling wind!

That has 5mm hour for me that equates to 5cm an hour of snow

Here is the accumulated precipitaion from NMM. Strong signal for Manchester and north Cheshire to suffer from a rain shaddow effect

Yes that has happened on many occasions where there is a pasting over the Peak District and over the Flintshire hills - Wrexham to Mold area, but not much in between. Less easterly and more southerly the better.
