The place to discuss the LI, was in the LI thread. If everyone had given it a chance and approached it with an open mind, all the above and more would have been discussed there. As it is, the above, taken in isolation is no more than has already been discussed in the Arctic thread and to an extent, also in the Weather related thread. There is no need to split this off into a separate discussion so will close this and copy your post into the Arctic thread.
