We're not interested if it's good event for other places, we want it good for us blum.gif

Exactly this is the East Midlands Thread and so far certainly in Notts the best we have seen is very light snow so you can see why people are a bit frustrated with todays event especially as it appears its stalled just to the west of us. Hopefully we will still get something out of today and personally I think we will if nothing spectacular

The one good thing however is Forest V Derby should be on tomorrow

Is the snow that is driving through Sussex, London going to hook round and move NW this afternoon ..... as it seems to be starting to do ?

Trying to find some optimism for here in Peterborough !!!

Where's TEITS when you need him ?!!!!

This aint over front is starting to pivot !east midlands might be in for a chance this afternoon!!

If it could move a bit further north as it pivots then were in with a shout well into the afternoon. The next hours radar updates should make it clear wether or not that likely to happen

I figured we'd need the London snow to extend further east into Essex and then to pivot NW otherwise if it turns any earlier then, at least for Peterborough, it will slide to the west of us as it is now.

There is definitely a major pivot taking place now as the northern element of the snow starts to head west and the southern element swings east and then NW. I think if you are north and east of the midlands then your best chance will be when the south east snow swings out and heads NW this afternoon.

I think that makes sense LOL !

I would love to be where you are as the heaviest of the London snow appears to be taking a track between Northampton and Peterborough for this afternoon !

It can't seem to decide what to do slightly heavier again here. I think 10cm is possible if this is here till 3pm
