Looks like another 2/3 hours before anything happens!

S

PS looks like a nice streamer heading for east kent-

S

Yes as the NE Flow is now turning NNE We will be seeing the Kent Slapper turn into the Kent Clipper in the wee early hours.

So the Herne Bay and Eastwards will be turning into the Eastern 3rd of Kent in the early hours, Folkestone look out!! Some nice heavier returns in there as well.

Night all!

Looks to me as though the band of PPN is getting to London and pretty much shearing completely. Annoyingly. NW East Anglia looks to be taking a pasting in the next few days, anyone fancy a move? Haha

I've seen enough on the 18z's (nmm being the highlight) to be more optimistic about tomorrow afternoons snowline. N Londoners might get lucky. North of Hampstead perhaps :)

Before I retire for the night, MetO are advising Croydon will get snow around 04:00 hrs averaging 1 - 2cm. Gritters will be deployed at 03:00 hrs ahead of the scheduled snow.

It does seem to be fizzling out as it moves over London, thats something that seems to happen fairly often! It's a shame, further North the PPN is intensifying!

Frustrating for us but at least some are getting a decent amount! Looks like they'll have best conditions tomorrow aswell, snow hoggers!

The band to the NW is beginning to make headway now, not long to see how it reacts as it moves SE.

EDIT: There is also a 'streamer' coming down to the west of the Cheshire Gap, might be worth keeping an eye on in the next few runs.

Could someone in London switch off the snow shield please!

It seems so! Everyone must have been worn out with all the emotion. hehe

Things are definitely beginning to head our way and that streamer just to the West of Cheshire is looking like it still has more to offer!

I do think many will wake to a dusting.

Snow Shield Deactivated! Well you never know, It could work! smile.png

I hope it was the right switch??

If anything it's been extended further North!

Sigh, always London that ruins it!

That radar speak with forked tongue - it said precipitation at Watford at 0115 - it still say precipitation but roads dry and I see nothing coming down - I even opened the window and shone torch but still no sign.

Snows a coming !

Definitely moving towards us now, not very intense, but it looks to be holding, while that streamer through the Cheshire Gap shows no signs of abating.

Yes the gap is looking tasty for later - good chance of making it across
