Nothing here yet. I'm amazed its snowing in Tarn and not here, its usually the other way round.

Actually I have had to crack open the Stella as it's so light so far. Calms my nerves...blum.gif

I'll need more than that if this doesn't get here good.gif

Light snow here in Upper Longwood, Huddersfield. 0.5 degrees here (I'm 170m ASL) & settling on cars. Drove down to the petrol station on Manchester Road-just before Linthwaite (I'd guess 100 m asl-possible less?)-car thermometer 1.5 degrees-still snowing but NOT settling. Just shows how 70/80 metres makes all the difference! Interesting to see what we get on the AMBER warning tomorrow-Hudds is just on the edge....but I'm east of the city centre-they say 10 cm possible over 150 m ASL-we'll see!

Why do the met office do this!! Really annoys me! The amber warning will not affect anyone west of York will it. There just covering themselves westwards! The itv calendar forecast as shabby as always said high ground to the east of region! Typical as u guys will get sniw showers later in week too as we're stuck with nothing in north leeds.. Same old.

Dry and cold. Radar shows it's snowing but it isn't. Sad that the front is so weak was hoping for something better.

Met office & bbc local/national forecasts for tomorrow, now showing sleet and temps upto 4 or 5'c for the afternoon here in sheffield. Reserving the east coast and high elevations prone to a strengthening easterly flow for all day snow. ANY EXPERIENCED THOUGHTS guys ??
