A band of sleet and snow is expected to move eastwards across the region during Monday morning and early afternoon, clearing from the west through the afternoon, but possibly becoming slow moving over North Sea coastal counties during the evening. Snowfalls of 2-5 cm at low levels and as much as 10 cm above 150 metres are likely to occur, mostly within a 3 to 4 hour period.

The public should be prepared for the risk of disruption, particularly to travel.

According to twitter and FB it's snowing in the Ilkley/Bingley region and it's snowing here! Albeit very light.

Just checked in on agent lamppost and he is showing light snow now up in lindley so not far away now matey!!

The current situation is we've taken the Christmas tree out of the garage and placed it on the grass, so when it's covered in snow we can stand next to it and say it's Lapland.

Icy with snow cover early on before further rain, sleet and snow arrives from the west, persisting thereafter giving further snow accumulations. Staying cold. Maximum temperature 3 °C.
