Yep, quite a big blob in the North Sea near east Anglia moving toward North Kent.

Totally agree, out of interest where is the ignore button?

Go to your account settings there is a tab saying ignore preferencs click it and type the members name :-)

^^ looks good I was in maidstone earlier well Hunton to be precise and it lightly snowed for an hour looked like a small streamer on the radar :)

It looks to me that it is heavier than the snow on the front and if we can get this into our area overnight and get a covering then we do stand a bit of a chance of the front staying as snow because the cold will moderate the warm sector to a certain extent. what do more experienced posters think

It's looking good for most of Kent, looks like the MO warnings for Kent are looking spot on, as you said hopefully it will aid the likelihood of snow via the front tomorrow. Looks like tonight could trump many accumulations via the front anyway! :)

Aiding the front tomorrow not sure, if we get a covering rain might be freezing on frozen surfaces. But if it can help cool the lower air might keep as sleet/wet snow? Anyones guess.....
