Iv noticed an intensification of the ppn over Wales on the last few frames . It seems plausible

Very, and I mean very, light snow here. Lamp-post stuff and even then you have to look hard.

Noticed the small patch building just east of the Malverns... went outside, there's the lightest of light and small snowflakes falling, temp's sitting at 0.0oC.

It seems like it dosent want to come to birmingham well and truly a snow shield area.

Nice to see the southeast will be getting all the fun again, i'm starting to think it's a conspiracy?

Still, fingers crossed, the daily mail says we're going to have a BBQ summer! *fetches raincoat and sandbags*

Well at least if it does rain tomorrow, the precipitation should have no problem staying heavy and crossing the region?

Definitely pepped up, proper snow now. Settling on car. Also settling on wooden garden furniture, and the path, and the grass!

it's funny but when i lived in London for 20 odd years you could count the number of decent snow events on one hand and the Midlands seemed to have all the snow fun. Now I live in the Midlands and London has had several decent snowfalls in recent years and the Midlands has been a bit pathetic. Maybe I am that 'snow shield'?

PPN to our northwest certainly seems to have intensified considerably in the past half hour :)

*prays to God that we get a decent snow event, even though he's not religious* why, oh why is it so bad here for snow now, it's just been one of the wettest years on record, surely we can tie in precipitation and cold?

If this lot fails, i'm gonna write the winter off coz there are only so many failed snow events a person can take ( I had 8 fails in 2010)
