I've been trying to add one of my photos as an avatar but it's too big and I've no idea how to make it smaller! Any help gratefully received!

A quick way to do this is to upload the image to the gallery here, it'll resize it for you - once you're uploaded the pic and are viewing it in the gallery, click the options button and choose view all sizes, you can then save the thumbnail version to use as your profile pic :)
