Hey folks,

This is my first real attempt of trying to photograph birds. I bought a Canon EOS1100D at the back of last year with the idea of doing astrophotgrapy through my 10" scope.

However I ended up buying a 55-250mm lens to try some wildlife photography, especially birds! I feed them after all! First time I tried was just a blurred mess

With it being a nice day and all I went and tried again, this time with better results! I know they ain't brilliant compared so some around here, but not bad for a complete novice who's fumbling his way to learning

They aren't that bad Kain, maybe by blurring the background a little more and trying different filters. It's all trial and error though, getting the right lighting conditions in the UK is a nightmare also.

Yeah, Im still learning with this DSLR, It complicated for a spoon like me

Will work it out though with trial and error

Actually I think the second photo if bloody good. I wouldn't worry about filters at the moment. Although if you want to fiddle try Tiffen.

Very nice I think. One of my favourite birds, cheeky little things, plenty of them here thankfully considering they have vanished from many places.
