Quite liked the rainfall just lately, it has all seemed to come in one go and then bugger off again, had a couple of really wet days in May then nothing, suits me fine.

The data I gave before is from the station of Arrasate/Mondragon (light blue), that station is the closest to my location. However, it has only been working for 15 years more or less.

On the other hand, I have information of Donostia/San Sebastian (top right - dark blue) since 1928 and the wettest years on record are the following:

1979 -------------- 2206,3

1930 -------------- 1974,1

1931 -------------- 1909,5

2008 -------------- 1909,5

1960 -------------- 1876

12mm of rain so far this month, 342mm this year so far, which is not that much drier up to this same time last year, but there was over 800mm for the remaining 6 and half months. Please no repeat.

Very different to the same time last year! We are a few days away from the anniversary of the 'River' flood event ( not the flash floods 4 weeks later) so by this time last year the Moors were overflowing and we still had a 'winter' water table level.

22mm here, average is 84mm so a fair bet we won't reach that in the next week but will be showery tomorrow.

2007 was wetter than last year here at 154mmIt seems quite dry and it's noticeable that if we get 5mm it just soaks in and is dry within 24 hours, whereas last year things got so waterlogged that 5mm was enough to raise the river levels dangerously deep for calves to cross.Year is on 268mm which is about 100mm below average.

The weekend washout added very little to the total now up 23.1mm. Very little sign of any major rainfall so a dry month is extremely likely.

A dry 31.2mm for June. Believe it or not that's the 3rd dry June out of the last five years.
